Terms and Conditions

Terms

  • A 20% non-returnable deposit is required to secure the booking.
  • The full balance must be received 8 weeks prior to the start date. This will apply immediately for rentals booked inside 8 weeks.
  • In the event that this payment is not forthcoming within the time period stated, then we may cancel the rental - in writing. However, the full balance of the rent would remain payable.
  • If cancellation is made after final payment is received, repayment will only occur if it proved possible to re-let the week/s in question, less any expenses or losses incurred. These repayment arrangements would also apply where any balance remained outstanding.
  • A security bond of 300€ to cover the cost of missing items, damage, breakages and any additional cleaning required will be collected (in the form of a cheque) on arrival and will be returned, less deductions as appropriate, within 10 days of the end of the letting period.
  • A proper travel insurance policy (with cancellation cover) is strongly recommended, this should also provide full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc. since these are not covered under the property policy.

Conditions

  • Rental commence on Saturday at 4pm and finishes at 10am when the property must be vacated, so that it can be cleaned and made ready for the following guests.
  • Tenants should take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, cleared of all rubbish. Although a final clean is included in the rental, we reserve the right to deduct any additional cleaning costs from the Security Bond.
  • Likewise, care should be taken over security, with windows all being properly closed and doors locked whenever the property is left empty. Items missing from the opening inventory will be deducted from the Security Bond.
  • Should you encounter any problem with the property, please contact us at the earliest opportunity, so that steps can be taken to rectify the problem. Likewise, any breakages or damage should be reported as soon as possible, so that replacement/repairs can be put in hand.
  • Pets are not allowed and any party arriving with pets will be denied access and the rental will be forfeit.
  • For safety and the comfort of following guests, these are all NO SMOKING establishments and guests must agree to respect this.
